Welcome to Silk & Sidr. By accessing or purchasing from silkandsidr.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General

Silk & Sidr ("we," "our," "us") reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the website signifies acceptance of any changes.

2. Products and Availability

Our collections include original artworks, limited-edition fine-art prints, hand-bound masahif, handwoven prayer rugs, and other handcrafted or produced items. Originals are handcrafted by the artist, while prints are museum-quality reproductions produced with archival materials. We make every effort to display accurate images and descriptions, but slight variations in color, texture, or appearance may occur and are characteristic of handcrafted work. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time without notice.

Due to the limited and handcrafted nature of our products, we may need to limit quantities per customer or decline orders in certain circumstances. If we need to make changes to or cancel your order, we will contact you using the information provided at checkout.

3. Custom and Made-to-Order Items

Certain products, including custom calligraphy and made-to-order masahif, are produced specifically for your order. These items may have extended production timelines as noted on the product page. Custom and made-to-order items are non-refundable once production has begun. If you have any concerns or are dissatisfied, please contact us at support@silkandsidr.com and we will do our best to make it right.

4. Pre-Orders

When pre-orders are available, estimated fulfillment windows will be listed on the product page. While we make every effort to meet these timelines, handcrafted production may occasionally cause delays. We will communicate any significant changes to your expected delivery date.

5. Orders and Payments

All prices are listed in USD. Payment is required at the time of purchase. We use secure third-party processors to handle all transactions and do not store full credit card details.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping timelines are listed on each product page and may vary by item. We are not responsible for shipping delays or events beyond our control once an order has been dispatched.

For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost.

7. Returns and Exchanges

If your order arrives damaged or defective due to shipping or a manufacturing error, please contact support@silkandsidr.com within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or repair. Natural variations in handcrafted items, such as slight differences in color, texture, or finishing, are not considered defects. If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason, please reach out and we will do our best to make it right.

8. Intellectual Property

All images, text, artwork, video clips, icons, illustrations, designs, and other content on this website are the property of Silk & Sidr or our partner artists and are protected by copyright law. Please do not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of this content without written permission.

9. Errors and Inaccuracies

While we work hard to ensure accuracy, our website may occasionally contain errors in product descriptions, pricing, or availability. If we discover an error affecting your order, we will contact you and make it right.

10. Limitation of Liability

Silk & Sidr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.
